CATHOLIC BALL.
BUCCESS AT PUTARURU. A most successful Catholic Church ball was organised In the Putaruru Town Hall recently. Visitors were present from Rotorua, Matamata, Tirau and surrounding districts. Excellent music was played by the Te Aroha Midnight Revellers’ Band, and Mr M. Heavey was M.G. The ladies' committee was headed by Mrs T. Cotter. Mr and Mrs W. A. Paul won the spot waltz, Miss M. Smith and Mr Smith the novelty dance, and Miss N. Ramsay and Mr Smith the statue waltz. Among those present were:—Mesdames D. Ballantyne, R. T. Smith, W. A. Paul, V. Teek, J. Martin, J. Ramsay, T.
