GIFT AFTERNOON.
FOR MISS JESSIE WATTB. Miss Jessie Watts, in view of her approaching marriage, was the guest-of-honour at a delightful gift afternoon given on Saturday by Mrs Aubrey Taylor at her home in Parr Street. Novel competitions caused much amusement, and a delicious afternoon tea was served. Miss Watts, who was wearing a smart green empire frock with richelieu collar, was the recipient of many gifts. Among those present were:—Mesdames H. Watts, J. Watts, D. Falconer, W. Diamond, H. Rutley, E. Baty, E. Thorpe, A. Hood, E. D. Tutchen, T. Hamilton, G. Morrow. k Misses Jessie Watts, S. Warren, M.
