FRUIT CONFERENCE.

OPENED BY MINISTER. FROST CONTROL RESEARCH. (By Teleg-rapn.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. A combined conference of the Fruit Control Board and the Fruitgrowers’ Federation was opened by the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, to-day. The Minister, reviewing the industry, stated that an officer of the department recently Investigated the methods of frost control in California, and the findings would be available lo growers in the districts where frost damage was prevalent.
