WEDDING.
SCOTT—BAILES. The marriage was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Ngaruawahia, on Saturday, between Dulcie Margaret, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. H. Bailes, of Te Kauwhata, and James Scott, son of Mrs Humphries, of Pukemiro. The Rev. A. Fotheringham officiated. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a very smart tailored navy costume, with an ivory satin beaute blouse fastened to the neck with tiny satin buttons. She wore a navy Tyrolean hat with accessories to tone, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of Iceland poppies, marigolds, freezias and primroses. She was attended by Miss Rita Cairns as bridesmaid, wearing a smart tailored navy costume, with hat and accessories to tone. She carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers. The best man was Mr Jack Scott, of Rotorua. The reception was held at the Town Hall Tea-rooms, which were attractively derornted with spring flowers and foliage. The guests were received by Miss Bailes, sister of the bride, and Mrs Humphries, Miss Bailes wearing a navy ensemble with a posy of violets, and Mrs Humphries a maroon frock and coat with a fox fur. Miss E. Scott, sister of the bridegroom, wore a smart ensemble of black, with bottle green tartan blouse and turban. After the reception the bride and bridegroom left for the honeymoon by They will make their home in Ngaruawahia.
