Elliot headed tlie winning jockeys’ list, riding 53 winners and one deadheat. Skidmore, with 40 winners, was second. 11. Freeman and J. Holt tied among the trainers with 13 wins each, but by reason of the greater number of minor place-getters Freedman ranks for the first time as the leading Victorian trainer.
