TRAFFIC IN BRITAIN. ENORMOUS CROWD MOVE. (Official Wireless.) (Received July 2, 11 a.m.) RUGBY', August 1. The railway companies made careful preparations to deal with the enormous crowds leaving London and othe* centres for the Bank Holiday weekend. The exodus of travellers started on Friday, and all the principal expresses were run in several parts. Automobile Association scouts recorded uu average of 10,000 cars hourly leaviug London’s principal exits. This year the Continental bookings reached Hie pro-depression level. II was estimated that 30.000 people travelled to the Continent on Saturday.
