RISE IN THE NOTE ISBUE. DAIRY ADVANCES DECREASE. (By Telegranh.—rress Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Reserve Bank return for the week ended Monday, July 26. was gazetted to-night. The statement is balanced at £31,339.012, or £139.742 less than at the end of the previous week. Government deposits are £296,977 higher than they were a week previously. while those of the trading banks have decreased by £446.473. The note Issue is valued at £ 10,185 more than In the preceding return. An increase of £269,242 In the value of the sterling exchange reserve follows a rise of £492,881 in the return of the week before. Advances to the Dairy Industry Account have fallen by £427,187. Other assets are £18,863 higher In value. The statement with variations compared with the week before is as follows : LIABILITIES.
