INDEPENDENT CONTROL.
WAIKATO AERO CLUB. THREE PLANES PRESENTED. The Waikato branch of the Auckland Aero Club, which has been under the control of the Auckland Club for the past four years, Is to commence operations on ils own account, according to a statement made by Dr. M. M. lloekin at the Aero Club Ball last evening. As a result of the new Government scheme for the, training of pilots, said Hr. lloekin, the Auckland Club was 100 busy to continue its connection with the Waikato, but the Waikato branch had been treated v*ry well and in permitting it to break away the parent body was handing over the plant at Rukuhia, including the Puss Moth and two Gipsy Moth aeroplanes. Waikato members of the Auckland Cluli were trying to start a club of their own. he said.
