VALUES AT RANQIRIRI. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report having held their usual stock sale, at Rnngtrirl yesterday when the advertised entry came forward, and attracted a large attendance of outside buyers, but owing to the adverse weather the stock did not look In the best of condition. In some cases vendors’ reserves were not reached at auction, but were sold afterwards at satisfactory realisations. Fat cows realised la<o market rates. There was a large yarding of dairy cattle, with competition for good quality cows and heifers keen, late rates being fully maintained. Aged and backward cows were not wanted. Medium fat cows and heifers made £7 10s to £B, lighter £5 15s to £6 18s, tillable £4 15s to £5 10s; heavy boner cows £3 10s to £4 Is, medium £2 8s to £3 3s. lighter 25s to 38s; threeyear Shorthorn steers, £8 17s to £9 3s; three-year mixed colour steers, £7 4s to £8; two-year Polled Angus storeconditioned steers. £6 18s to £7 ss; two-year Shorthorn store-conditioned steers. £6 12s to £7; forward-condi-tioned Shorthorn cows, £4 to £4 10s; store-conditioned Shorthorn cows, £3 to £3 11s; Jersey yearling heifers, £2 Jss to £3 ISs, smaller 35s to £2 Bs. Dairy Cattle; Good Shorthorn cows, close to profit, £8 to £8 15s; Shorthorn cows, August calvers, £6 10s to £7 15s; Jersey and Jersey-cross cows, close to profit, £7 to £7 ss; Shorthorn heifers, close to profit, £8 10s £9 10s; Shorthorn heifers, more backward, £7 to £8 ss; Jersey and Jersey-cross heifers £6 10s to £B.
