The Government has decided to make a free gifl of all the Stale properly within tlie area at Westminster selected ns tlie site of the King George V. Memorial. The value of the gift is estimated at £BO.OOO. The committee responsible for the memorial has sol aside for it £125.000 Of the sum raised by public subscription.
