MATANGI CARD EVENING.
There was a large attendance at the weekly card evening organised by the Hall Social Committee and held In the Matangl Hall on Monday. Progressive 500 was enjoyed, the winners being Mrs Skifflngton and Mr R. Robinson. A competition was won by Mrs I. Robinson. Supper concluded a very pleasant evening. Among those present were:—Mesdames Jamieson, R. Taylor, A. ’McClennan. I. Robinson, Wainwright. Milne, Skilhngton, Ilogan, J. B. Taylor. .Misses W. Wilkes, M. Kirkbride.
