CANTERBURY TOURISTS. HOOPER AND HUNTER IOUT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CIIRJSTCHURCII, Wednesday. As ho is still suffering from' an ankle injury suffered in ihe interisland Rugby match at Wellington, J. A. Hooper lias failed to pass the medical test, and will not accompany the Canterbury team on its northern tour. A. G. Hunter (University), has been unable to accept the invitation to join the team, and R. F. Chinnery (Sunnyside) has been asked to tour.

Wallace, to record his impressions of and observations on the Australians who played against the Springboks. Dr. W. Matthews, chairman of the selection committee, also is to be asked to report.
