Mr Jardine said: “ I am still unable to think of a deser ption fitting the Archbishop more perfectly. I am not surprised at the Vatican's championship of Dr. Lang and I welcome 11 because it prtves to the world what England has known for many yjar?—namely, that the Archbishop of Canterbury Is too friendly with the Vatican and is doing more lo destroy the work of the Reformation than anyone in the Church of England.”
