YIELDS £15,344,231

OVER 686,900 BALEB 80LD. BRITAIN THE LARGEST BUYER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Messrs Dalgety and Company’s annual review of the New Zealand wool trade states that 686,994 bales were sold at June 30. There are 15,198 bales on hand consisting principally of crutchings and oddments which since have been practically disposed of. Shipments on account of growers were 60,847 bales, Including 47,988 bales of greasy. The gross prooeeds of New Zealand sales were £16,344,231, an average of £22 6s 8d a bale at a price per lb of 16.71 d, an inorease over last year of £6,260,934. Of the total purchased in New Zealand for the twelve months the United Kingdom took 245,626 bales. Japan, China and India 122,769, the United States and Canada 114,513. the New Zealand manufacturers, 24,294, local scourers, 25,807 and Auatralla, 14,987.
