“A RAINY DAY.”
FASHION FLASH FOR CAMERAMAN. A huge umbrella for the camera and, quite incidentally, for the cameraman. A waterproof “cap” of thin rubber for the microphone. Specia. canopies for the lights. Boots and sou'wesiers and slickers for the director and his crew. And—rain, just rain, for the actors. That was the general layout when the company of Columbia’s, new com • edy, “Let’s tie! Married.” went on location to take advantage of a natural rainstorm for a half-dozen scenes in which a storm was required. Ralph Bellamy. Ida Cupino, Walter Connolly. Raymond Walburn and little Oeorge Ernest were among the players who, unsheltered from the downpour, gazed at the protected “grips ’ and “juicers” and cameramen with envy.
