MYSTERY REGARDING FATE. REWARD OF £4OOO OFFERED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO, July 24. A reward of £4OOO has been offered on behalf of Mr Putnam for information that will definitely clear up knowledge of the fate of Mrs Amelia Earhart Putnam, who disappeared when flying Ihe Pacific on July 3. The reward will be paid for the recovery of contents or part of the aeroplane which reveal the fate of the airwoman.
