A revolution in the detection of crime ts foreshadowed after official tests of a system devised by Mr Robert Heger. It is believed that by the new method the police will be enabled to describe a criminal from an analysis of his finger-prints.
Mr Heger, after studying the prints of four criminals whom he had never seen, wrote accurate detailed descriplions of them. In one instance he gave the man’s height within an inch and his weight within s!b. Also he described bis gait and the colour of his hair, eyes and complexion.
