CONCILIATION PROCEEDINGS. AN OFFER BY EMPLOYEES. (By Telegram.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. The Conciliation Council dealing with the New Zealand passenger transport drivers’ dispute agreed on a month’s adjournment to enable the employees to consider an offer made in respect of service-oar drivers for £5 5s a week and existing award conditions, an 88-hour fortnight, plus any one of the following: An extra week’s holiday, an extra six days, not necessarily consecutive, or an extra week’s pay. Further discussion of the position regarding bus drivers also was deferred.
