While the New Zealand hockey team were playing against the Tweed district their pocket badges were removed from their blazers, which were hanging in the dressing-room. The manager, Mr Gracie, made an appeal for the return of the' badges, which he said were of great sentimental value to the players. Money and other valuables left In the clothes of the players were not touched.
