An Air Force seaplane, containing two pilot officers, Ernest Hyde (20) and Charles Houston (23), which was last seen skimming above the sea near Rye shortly before noon yesterday, has not been seen since. Searching planes found a larges patch of oil on the sea eight miles from Point Cooke, and Air Force' oncers think that this marks the place where the plane plunged into the' Mater.
