Pye, of Whawharua, have, returned from the conference of the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, held recently at Wellington. i Miss Norma Sanford is visiting New Plymouth, where she will be a bridesmaid at the White —Allen wedding to take place to-morrow. Mrs G. A. Johnstone, of Waitetuna, left to-day for New Plymouth to attend the White—Allen wedding. Mrs F. J. Farrell, of Hamilton, has returned home from a visit to Australia m • * • Mrs Rae Hawkins, of Hamilton, left last evening to make her home in Wellington. Mrs J. D. Stephens, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs H. D. Curling in Hamilton. Miss B. L. Beard has been appointed an assistant mistress of the Waharoa School. Mesdames A. B. Sturtevant (Taumarunui), F. H.
