Co r LONDON, Jun): if” A well—known Sydney yac-htsman, Mr Harold Nositer, and his two sons arrived at Plymouth from Sydney, in their 30-ton auxiliary schooner yacht Sirius, via Singapore and the Red Sea. They will return to Sydney via Panama in the autumn, thus complet—ing a voyage round the world. The yacht met wii-h no mishap on the voyage and no member or the crew suh‘ered a single day‘s illness. After leaving Sydney the yacht went to Rahaul, and spent a week around the coast of New Guinea. Then she went through the East Indies, calling at, the islands of Bulmi, liomodn, and Bali. and then putting in at Batavia and Singapore. AL the iaiier pori the yacht narrowly escaped hcing wrecked while becalmed. a tidal current selling her in towards the breakers. From Singapore the yacht. went on lo Penann~ and Langkawi island, in the Straits Seiilemonis. Then she crossed the Indian Ocean to Colombo and sailed on to Aden. where the crew heard of King George‘s death.
