Boss. president of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. at, a meeting of the council of the chamber yesterday, during discussion on a .memorandum from the Dunedin chamber relating to the Primary Products Marketing Act. The Dunedin chamher said irreparable damage to the dairy industry and to trade in general, would be caused by the Act, which it viewed with great concern. It was decided to approve the memorandum, and also support a proposal that meat and wool producers should he invited to express their view-s by referendum before the dairy produce system \\'as extended.
