VICAR APPOINTED.

PARISH OF OKATO. SYDNEY CLERIC COMING. The Rev. E. L. B. Gribble, of Sydney, has accepted the position of vicar of St. Paul’s Anglican parish, Okato, Taranaki. Mr Gribble will succeed the Rev. Canon C. E. Newbould, who has resigned on account of the indifferent health of his wife, and will leave at the end of this month, for England. Mr Gribble, who is a licentiate of theology, was ordained deacon in 1923, and priest in 1'924 by the Bishop of Brisbane. For three years he was on the staff at St. James’ Cathedral, Townsville, and since he has been vicar of the parishes of Hughenden (1926-29). Winton (1929-30), and Longreach (1930-33), and for the last year he has been with the Mission to Seamen in Sydney. __
