Commenling on the London cable reporting that Mary Weston had he—come a man after undergoing an operation, a well—known New Zealand plas—tic surgeon stated 10—day that such leases were not uncommon. In the last few years several cases had come to his notice in which the sex of a child had been wrongly doiernv ined at birth and the mistake revealed laftcr an Operation.
