ASSAULT ON A WOMAN. At the Supreme Court. Hamilton, yesterday a young Maori carrier, Mate )laiiiana Kinxt (2.5) was charged with attempted rape, near Tauranga. His Honour, Mr Justice Fair presided. Mr Ht ’l‘. Gillies appeared for the prosecution, and Mr J. 1". Strung for the accused. Evidence showed that. while the ac‘ eused was struggling with the woman the latter's husband appeared on the scene and gave him a thrashing. _.._____
