INCREASE IN HAMILTON. VITAL STATISTICS FOR MAY. An increase in the number of births registered in Hamilton, as compared with the figures for the same month last year, is disclosed in the vital statistics for May. During last month there were 40 births recorded, as against 33 in May last year. Deaths increased by onc, the total last month being 23, compared with 22 in the same period last year. There were fewer marriage licenses issued in May this year, the figures being 21, as against 23 in May, 1936. In the first five months at this year there have been 239 birihs and 116 deaths registered in Hamilton, anvi 130 marriage licenses issued. The respective ilgurcs {or the same period last year were 218 births, 11!) deaths. and 115 marriage licenses.
