Miss Hilda Ayrey. lot Mangateparu, who has been appointed to the nurs--his staff of the Thames Hospital, was accorded a farewell evening in the Mangateparu llull receuily, in recog—nition of the services she has rendered lo the Mangaiepai-u Sunday 5011901 and Bible Class,
About 50 children and young folk who were present were entertained at. games conducted by the suporintond—out. Mr R. W. Noble. Supper was served, after which Mr Nnhle. in an appropriate speech, asked Miss Ayrey to accept the gift or a beautifully—hound Bible. ‘Muslcal honours were accorded.
