TAUWHARE NOTES.
ANNUAL CHURCH BAZAAR. The annual Presbyterian Church Bazaar was held in the hall on Friday evening, there being a fair attendance. Good business was done at the various stalls. By the effort, the church funds will benefit to the extent of £l6 Bs. Competitions were held during the evening, and elocution by Mr Green was much appreciated. The stall-holders were as follows: Tea-rooms, Mrs D. Shaw, and Misses V. Brown and Sattrup; produce, Mesdames A. Benge and A. Ramsay: fancy goods, Mesdarnes F. Windsor ■and D. Fell; meat stall. Mr M. Durey; darts. Mr D. Fell; sweats and bran tub, Misses M. Ramsay and D. Windsor. Winners of the competitions were: Mesdarnes T. Neil, W. Pope, Misses A. Windsor, D. Thompson, S. Shaw, Messrs G. Bash ford, A. Ramsay and H. Bell and Masters E. Tunnell and Cyril Shaw. PERBONAL. f Mrs L. J. Edwards, of Te Awamutu. is visiting Tauwhare. Mrs G. Grant has returned to Mangapehi after spending a holiday with her parents at Tauwhare. Miss J. Ramsay has returned to Tauwhare after spending some weeks in Taranaki. Mrs M. Durey has left to spend a holiday at Red Vale.
