WEDDINGS.
MONTGOMERY—LUXTON. The marriage was solemnised quietly at. St. Andrew‘s Presbyterian Church, ”Hamilton. on Saturday after—noon, between Alice Gertrude. only (laughter of Mrs M. Luxton, of Claudelsnds, Hamilton, and Herbert. John Montgomery, or Edseoumbe, eldest son of Mr John Montgomery. The ' Rev. liorwell performed the ceremony and Mr E. ii. Apt‘horp presided at the organ. 1 The bride, who was escorted by Mr Lon Luxton, wore a very smart navy costume with navy and white hat. and white blouse, and carried a lovely bouquet of red roses and carna— Lions. .\‘liss Noreen Beid was the bridesmaid and wore a charming frock in dusty pink with brown relief. She wore a toning hot, and carried a bouquet of ohrysanthemums, carna--tions and roses shading from deep cream to pink. The Rev. C. Luxton (cousin of thei bride) was the best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Centreway rooms where the guests were received by Mrs Luxton, who was wearing a wine (rock with matching hat and navy coat. \Vhen Mr and Mrs H. J. Montgomery left by ear for the honeymoon the bride travelled wearing a brick red shaded frock trimmed with brown, brown hat, and fur coat. They will make their 'home at Ten—plri. ELLIOTT—WRIGHT. The marriage was soiemnised at Manowarn on \Vodnosday, between Loin Maud, third daughter of Mr and Mrs \\’. ,-\. Wright. and Arthur \\'illiam, older son of Mr and Mrs A. \\'. Elliott. The ntllriating minister was ’tho Rev. J. llaslnn, and the Gospel ’iinii was very beautifully arranged. [Mrs E. Rowen piayrrt the wedding music.
