l ——-«.———— i t ' EVENING AT TAUPIRI. ‘ _ _ t A most. successful social evening _ organised by the Tanoiri Girl Guides' Company, to raise funds to purchase a flag. was held in the Taupiri Mission Hall on Saturday. The evening was spent in games and ,competitlons and the following items were greatly appreciated: Folk dances by the Guides; elooufion, Miss F'. Murphy; \‘ocal duets. Julie and Bobbie Fulton. ‘ During the evening the District Commissioner. Mrs J. D. Joy, of INgaruawahiu, assisted by Captain F. lAnen .or St. Peter‘s Girl Guide Com‘Vpany, Hamilton. enrolled two Guides . as Patrol Lenders and two recruits as Guides. l The Rev.
