i , “+— l HIGH SCHOOL OLD GIRLS. AMUSINu EVENING SPENT. An amusing evening was spent by the Hamilton High School Old Girls' Association last evening when a mock ibanquet was held in the Wattle Tearooms in place of the usual monthlyl social evening. The New Zealand authoress. Miss Nelle Scanlan, was‘ the guest of honour and some most amusing speeches were given by the Old Girls and much enjoyed. Prior to the banquet competitions and games were held and communityi singing with Mrs 'H. R. Gwynne at the I) piano was greatly enjoyed.
