CHILDREN'S FANCY DANCE. A very happy time was spent on Thursday when a children’s fancy dress dance was held in the Tamahere schoolroom. The room was prettily decorated with flowers. ’l‘wo competitions were won by Mrs Commlns and Mrs Peirson and a delicious supper was served by the ladies. Delightful items were given by Nola Davies (Hamilton), tap dance, and Shirley \\’indsor (elocution). Prizes for fancy dresses were won by Joy Mcindoe (Fairy).
