RAILWAY SPORTS CLUB.
i FANCY onsss BALL. A very successful plain and fancy dress ball was held on Thursday in the Railway Institute, under the auspices of the newly formed Entertain—ment Committee of the Railway Sports Club. There was a large attendance, and many gay costumes were worn. The supper tables were arranged with flowers, and beside each child's plate was a 'bag of sweets and a bul—lloon. _ I The evening passed with dancmg, games, and ‘communily singing. Tap ‘dances were given by Miss Doris \Valsh, and elocutionary items by Miss Fay Trevena. . Mr \\'ard. master of ceremonies, assisted by an energetic committee, man‘aged the evening until 9.30 p.ln., when the children went in to supper. The remainder of the evening was spent by the adults in dancing. Excellent music was played by the Premier Dance Band under the leadership or Mr -B. Mayan.
