The most celebrated American star now in London is Constance Bennett. who is appearing in “ Everything is Thunder " at, the Gaumont-British studios with Douglass Montgomery. also from the United States. Richard Arlen, the latest arrival, has come to star in the Gaumont-British film “ The Great Divide," and to enter —he hopes—for the Amateur Golf Championship. Production Postponed. The next arrival will be Dolores Del Rio, to take a leading part in “Accused " for Criterion Films. The production has been postponed because of the illness of Douglas Fairbanks, jun. To fllmgoers generally the most outstanding visitor from Hollywood this YEar may be Norma Shearer, who wishes to make her next film, “ Marie Antoinette." in Britain. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer are to pro—duce four other important pictures in London with stars from the United States. Lionel Barrymore may be expected about the end of May, to appear in “ Silas Marner.“ “ The Wind and the Rain." Later Robert Montgomery will come to London to star in “A Yank at Ox—ford." He ls to be followed by Robert Taylor, due to appear in the play by a New Zealander, “ The Wind and the Rain,” and by Luise Rainer and Brian Aherne, who are to play in ”Rage in Heaven."
