EVENING FOR HOCKEY FUNDS. A very enjoyable card and dance evening was held in illO .\iotumaoho Hall, in aid: of hockey funds, ['B— ‘ Mr A. J. Murphy and Mrs J. Murphy were awarded first prize, and con—solaLion prizes were \\'on by Mrs R. Gifford and .\lr J. Wilson. Music for dancing was supplied by Mrs 'llarboLtle, Miss A. Ferguson, and Messrs G. Baker and \V. Phillips. PERSONAL. . Mrs H. Manuel is visiting Auckland. Mrs J. Henderson, of Papatoetoe, is the guest of Mrs J. \Viison, of Mommacho. Mrs S. White, of Motumaoho, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs Dunbar has returned from a short stay in Gisborne. 1 Mrs J. S. Wilson, of Motumaoho, has been visiting relatives in Tarana-ki. Miss M. Jury; of Taranaki, is visit-, ing her sister, .\lrs lioskin, of .\lotu—l maoho. i Miss N. Ferguson, of Tauranga, is‘ spending a few days with Mrs S. A., Ferguson, of .\ioiumaoho. !
