The outstanding success which has attended the music. eiocution. and dancing competitions at the \Vaikato Winter Show since their inception about. four years ago has again attracted record entries this year. and there is every indication that the competitions, which will commence on Tuesday and continue until Saturday. will be the most successful yet held. In View at the popularity of the competitions, and the widespread support accorded them. It is probable that a new hall will be provided for them In the near future. An intimation to this effect was given to-day by Mr W. H. Paul. secretary or the \\'aikato Winter Show Association.
