. .This was the third time that Mrs Jacobsen, had won. the title, for, as Miss Uphain, she was .also successful at the. tournament of 1927 and 1928. The Arikikapakapa Cup was won by Mrs McDonald, of Te Awamutu, who in the final match defeated Mrs Hutchinson, of Gisborne, 4 and 2.
