The militia are to be reduced from 133,000 to 00,000 into a more compact body. Traditional regiments are to be strengthened and given more adequate equipment. The 13G infantry regiments will become six infantry, and une cavalry, the latter to be mech-
anised. The naval personnel will be increased and the air force made more of a fighting unit.
