ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
STREET ACCIDENTS. AUCKLAND, Thursday. Mr W. J. Davies, a middle-aged Maori, suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a motor-car on Manukau Road last evening.
James Thompson (aged one year) is in the hospital, very seriously injured, through being hit by a motorlorry near his home yesterday afternoon.
In a collision last night with a sta tionary car, Mr William Russell (26) motor-cyclist, suffered a broken jaw.
FATAL TERMINATION.
CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday. Mrs Maud Marie Scrivener (56) who was struck by a car while riding a bicycle on the Papanui Road last, night, died in the hospital to-day as the result of injuries. CARS COLLIDE. ROTORUA, Thursday. Mr Arthur Wallace suffered serious internal injuries when a car he was driving, collided with one driven by Mr John Fortune, who escaped injury though his car turned a somersault as the result of the impact.
