MUSICAL FESTIVAL.
CAMBRIDGE SOCIETY. ARRANGING PROGRAMME. (Special to Times.) CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. At an executive meeting of the Cam • bridge Competitions Society. Mr F. R. Wooldridge presiding, a number of alterations were made to the programme for the coming f estival. It was decided that no age limit be imposed in the School Choir contest, but competitors must not have passed the sixth standard. A novelty class will be a mouth organ solo, any age. The character recitation will now be Tor children under 9. not 8. Another class for children will be an anion song, not in costume and without properties for boys and girls, 8 and under 12.
There are also to be two recitation classes for children or the Cambridge dlstrict who have not received professional " tuition at any time outside their school. The age limits will be under 8 and under 12 years.
