VALUES FOR JERSEYS. PEN€ARROW STUD OFFERING. There was a large and representative attendance when the complete dispersal sale of the Pencanrow Jersey stud, the property of Mr F. E. Day, of Tamahere, was held at the homestead this afternoon. Prices ranged up to 81-gns. for cows, this price being paid toy Miss E. Barnett for Pencarrow Daisy PrlffiTess by Master Man of Pencarrow from Daisy Daydream. For Daisy’s 'Oxford Beauty, a seven-year-old daughter of Winning Post (imp.) and Dairy M.O. (imp.), Mr G. Irvine, of Hokianga paid 57gns. The same buyer paid 53gns. for Pencarrow Gentle Maid by Winping Post out of Highstead’s Dairy Maid. Messrs C. G. and F. C. Aitken, of Wharepapa, paid 44gns. for the three-year-old Pencarrow Princess Daisy, another attractive daughter of Winning Post and Daisy M.O. A Putaruru breeder, Mr E. M. Peffers, was ihe last bidder at 40gn«. on Xenia’s Daydream, a nine-year-old daughter of Winning Post from Highstead’s Dairy Maid. The sale was conducted by the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company.
