Mr E. M. Edkins, of Te Aroha, chairman of directors of the Farmers’ Cooperative Auctioneering Company, is visiting Hamilton.
Dr. Ferrier Hulme, a retired minister of the Methodist Church, who delivered an address at St. Paul's Church, Hamilton, last evening, left to-day for Rotorua.
Mr C. G. Maclndoe was re-elected chairman and Mr R. T. Reid deputychairman at the annual meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday.
Messrs K. McKenzie Milne, H. E. Hutchinson, G. R. Baillie (Wellington); M. Shore (New Plymouth); F. Kirrane (Waiuku) ; R. Jameson (Christchurch) ; W. R. Jaggs, D. A. Taylor, and J. McMaster (Auckland) arc at the Hamilton Hotel.
Mr F. K. Turnbull, president of the Wanganui Head Centre of the Royal Life-Saving Society, has been informed that the central executive of the society in London has approved of the issue of the distinguished service medal and certificate to him.
