CARDS AND DANCE.
FUNCTION AT ELSTOW. At a five hundred tournament and dance in the Elstow Hall recently a very enjoyable time was spent. Miss P. Blackford played excellent music, and novelty waltzes were won by Miss F. Lindsay and Mr J. Hunt and Miss Christafal and Mr Davies (New Plymouth). The card tables were well attended and Mrs McCabe and Mr Farry were the winners of the first prizes. Other prizes were won by Mrs Hayes and Mr B. Diclcen. Extras were played by Mr H. Hayward, and Mr P- D. Stockley was M.C.
