THE RAREST STAMP.

EARLY DOMINION ISSUE. USED FULL-FACE QUEEN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN. Tuesday. Recently a northern newspaper drew attention to New Zealand’s rarest stamp, a 3d lilac full-face Victoria on pelure paper without a watermark or perforation. It was stated to be worth £1750 for an unused specimen, there being no used ones. A Dunedin lady, Mrs M. Keoham, produced a used one to-day apparently identical with the description. She got it in a collection presented her by a cousin and states that the chief postmaster has advised her to get in touch with the Department’s expert in Wellington.
