GIFT AFTERNOON.
HAPPY TIME SPENT. A verv enjoyable gift afternoon was held at the home of Mrs H. D. -Cobb, In Claudelands last week, in honour of Miss Mollie Burgess, whose marriage took place on Saturday. Mrs Cobb received her guests wearing a frock of black satin beaute with touches of white, the guest of honour wearing a navy costume with pink accessories. During the afternoon items were given by Mrs W. Dixon and Mrs S. Walker. A delicious afternoon tea was then served after which Miss Burgess opened the many gifts. Those present were:—Mesdames H. Burgess, E. Bint, L. Robinson, R Turnwald, W. Edwards, R. Ebbett, S. Walker, Horton, Lewis, G. Haynes, Watson, Baker, E. Snell, W. Dixon.
