EUREKA FUNCTION.
CARD EVENING. The members of the Eureka ladles’ basketball team were responsible for a very enjoyable card evening on Wednesday, the result being a great benefit to the finances of the team. Flag 500 was played the winning trio being Mrs K. Inglis, Miss G Inglis and Mr Harry Clarkin. Those present were:—Mesdames R. Townsend, A. Johns, K. Inglis, P. Shine, L. Harris, L. Masters, C. Masters, J. McLennan. Misses A. Shine, M. Harris, G. Townsend, J. Cress well, M. McLennan, M. Lozell, W. Townsend, A. Manson, N. Harris, G. Inglis, H. Saleman.
