MATAMATA ACTIVITIES. Airs G. G. Bell presided over the annual meeting of the Matamata Plunket Society, which was fairly well attended. The reports of the secretary, treasI urer and nurse, revealed that during j the year much valuable work had been ! accomplished and that the finances j were very sound. The sum of £34 lGs 18d had been raised as the result of • a Mardi Gras, and £l2 16s 8d from a [ concert. The profit on the year was i £7 10s, and there was a sum of £75 [on fixed deposit and £4B 18s in curj rent account. The attendance at the clinic had been as follows: Adults 980, | babies 894, older children 170. Election of Officers. | The election of officers resulted as 1 follows: President, Mrs G. G.
