TE KUITI BALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held iheir usual sale at Te Kuiti on the 15th Inst., when a medium yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. The entry of sheep, comprising mainly lambs, sold well under keen competition, whilst cattle prices were on a par with late rates. Quotations.—Medium weight fat wethers, 23s 7d; medium forward condition two-tooth wethers, 20s 7d: heavy fat lambs, 255; medium fat lambs 20s 5d to 20s lOd; medium fat and forward black-faced lambs, 17s; forward condition, 15s 2d; medium stores 13s 9d to 14s; forward condition blackfaced wether lambs, 15s 5d to 16s 3d; small two-tooth ewes running with rams, 24s Gd; aged ewes running with rams, 16s 3d. Light fat Shorthorn cows, £4 10s to £4 16s; fat Jersey cows, £3 2s to £3 6s; forward condition Shorthorn cows, £3 to £3 14s; forward condition Jersey cows, £2 to £2 15s; stores and boners, 25s to 30s; empty two-year Polled Angus heifers, £4 10s; Polled Angus Hereford steer calves, £4 12s; medium two-year Jersey heifers running with bull, £3 5s to £3 13s; smaller and late calvers, £2 to £2 15s; medium Jersey heifer calves, £2 2s; smaller sorts, 295; medium dairy cows (close to profit), £4 10s; rougher sorts (in milk), £3 to £3 ss; late calvers, £2 to £2 12s 6d.
