DAIRY BOARD’S REPORT. THE MARKETS FIRM. WELLINGTON, Monday. The New Zealand Dairy Board has received the following market report from its London office, under date May 15 (the previous week’s figures being given in parentheses) : Butter.—New Zealand salted. 93s to 955, equals approximately 10.995 d f.o.b. (SBs to 89s) ; New Zealand, unsalted. 93s to 95s (88s to 89s). Deliveries: New Zealand, 1968 tons (last year. 1967 tons) ; in store, 4472 tons (last year, 7095 tons). Australian salted, 92s to 94s (87s to 88s). Deliveries: Australian, 2186 tons (last year. 1772 tons) ; in store, 4043 tons (last year, 7874 tons). The market is firm. New Zealand retail price unchanged, lid. Danish, 82s f.0.b., 102 s spot (79s and 100 s to 101 s); Dutch unsalled, 85s to 88s up to 90s (84s to 86s) ; Siberian salted. 89s to 92s (87s) ; Polish salted, 83s to 84s (82s to 83s); Polish unsaltcd, 83s (82s). The market is firm. Danisii retail price unchanged, Is Id. The Imperial Economic Committee’s estimated stocks of all butters, 534,485 boxes (last year, 826,161 boxes).

Cheese.—New Zealand white, 57s 6d to 58s, equals approximately 6.38 d f.o.b. (56s 6d). New Zealand, coloured, 55s to 55s 6d, equals approx. 6.06 d f.o.b. (54s 6d to 555). Deliveries: New Zealand, 20,606 crates (last year, 22,474 crates); in store, 99,397 crates (last year, 169,620 crates). Australian white, 565. The market is firm. New Zealand retail price unchanged, 7d. Canadian white, G‘2s to G4s (62s to 645) ; coloured, 65s to 66s (65s to 66 s). Deliveries: Canadian, 4680 boxes (last year, 5249 boxes) ; in store 63,716 boxes (last year, 62,785 boxes). The Canadian market is steady. English finest farmers: Stocks practically cleared, price nominal. English factory, 52s to 54s (49s to 545). The market is firm.
